Moderately opaque ruby violet. Aromas of plum, black cherry, cocoa powder, coffee, and vanilla with hints of mint. Round and soft on the palate with plenty of sweet, dark fruit. Medium bodied with medium acidity and velvety tannins. Finishes long with a bit of heat from 14.5% alcohol. Drinking very well right now with the structure to easily go another 5 years.
