Pierro better known for its brilliant Chardonnay but this is quite a good Pinot Noir. Notes of burnt toffee, varnish and sappy plum notes. Lovely balanced palate with soft tannins. Good juice. 2009 vintage.

Nice aromatics with some sappy earthiness. Good mouthfeel and palate. No great length. Short term cellaring. Pierro a lot like Oakridge in that they both make great Chardonnay and not so great Pinot Noir. 16.5+.

Enjoying this amazing Pinot with lamb and potatoes, and absolutely dying over the light touch and beautiful after taste
