Pierre-Yves Colin-Morey
La Maltroie Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Chardonnay
PYCM is a beast. The density in his wines is never at the betrayal of acidity. I love the way his wines feel, it's hard to keep my hands off them. His 2013's seem rich for the vintage, powerful yet with such cut. White flowers, dark rocky spice, citrus candy, ginger, lemongrass, powdery almonds, cereal dust. Love to see this in 20 years

Jun 23rd, 2016Oh god, PYCM never fails me. It's is elegant, very gracious even at this baby age. Roasted sunflower seeds, ripe apricots, some tropical goodness and fantastic balance.

Sep 14th, 2015blind this was clearly PYCM (unfortunately). I thought this was from st. aubin or possibly puligny. creamy texture from the oak. Insane minerality.
