Intense rounded honeyed midpalate, amazingly deep fruit. Young but very good. Intense floral notes and huge length. Noticeable oak, but it’s well integrated. Lacks some of the finesse and prettiness of Criots but I suspect that’ll come with age.

Unfortunately this along with others in the range didn't stand out as spectacular or distinctive which blew my mind because I'm a huuuge fan of the producer.

PYCM! The producer I am most excited about in burgundy as of late. Decant on this is recommended, but a wine that is umami driven and sheds its Layers with time.

pretty excellent example from a stellar producer in an under ripe year that shows a lot like 2004

Nose of stone, white pepper, lemon merengue, lime zest. Taste of creamy lime, nice acidity, long creamy/caramel, slight sweet apples. With time (or slight warming), the structure and nuance really start to show. Stone and bread come to life.
