As with Sparr's Gewurztraminer, this entry level pinot gris offers a classic summation of what the grape and style offer in Alsace. It's off-dry, medium body, wonderfully round in the mouth and altogether beguiling. Lemon, honey, hay, a bit of almond - it's a classic example at a very fair price.

Aug 5th, 2018Pale beige gold in the glass. Shy floral and stone fruity nose. Palate of honeyed baked apple and sweet straw. Medium short finish of bitter stone fruit pits. Full body and medium low acidity. Very nice representation of the grape and region.

May 1st, 2014Maybe a tad too old. No acid left after four years, fruits were still there but didn’t have that touch of honey that I enjoy with a good older white. Glad I didn’t wait any longer to take this out of the cellar.

Aug 16th, 2019Peach with hints of crisp green fruit. Bright gold in color. Flowers and fruit on the nose. A touch of sweetness that paired well with panko and mustard crusted halibut. Also think this wine would pair great with a cheese plate.
