Very solid Loire Sauvignon Blanc. Steep Hill Importer-I like their portfolio as seems to emphasize true to type varietals. Nothing flashy, just good ol fashioned terroir.

Typical SB aromas, peach, grapefruit and hints of herbal notes. On the palate aromas carry to the fruit flavors dominated by peachy grapefruit flavors. Rich full finish showing off generous acidity and mineral ending. Went great with Sushi.

The nose is very mineral : chalk, crushed rocks, oyster shell. A bit of an herbal and lemon touch too. The palate is acid driven, with a great grip, some nice lemon all around, a bit of width, a very long finish with lemon notes and chalky touches. This is so good

Gun powder, cat piss, lemon, crushed rocks, chalk... what a complex nose ! The palate is a model of balance and tension. Lemon at first, a sheer acid backbone that is backed by fruit and matter with a nice density around the end of the palate. The finish is fresh, thirst quenching and lovely with flowery notes. Very good Sancerre !

Inviting bouquet. Medium body. Fruit forward. Classic Sancerre finish of earth and stone. Great wine for the price.
