Les Hospices Sancerre Pinot Noir

VERY affordable. Sancerre lovers (like me and Hemingway) are pretty happy with almost any sancerre. (Very small production area.)
So call this a "C" and try to find some of the B's and the (not-so-affordable) A's.

Very nice. Long finish. Crisp acidity. Costco. $14.99. Worked well with harder pungent sheep cheese and caprese and curried pasta. Would go well with most things due to acidity and citrus notes. Grapefruit overtones. B

We aren't usually Pinot Noir folks but this was a unexpected and welcomed change up from the norm. Some cherry and blackberry with well-balanced tannins considering how light it appeared to be. Pretty decent!

Pale ruby color. Aromas of blackberry, cherry and dried flowers. Ok Pinot for the price ($12 bucks)- nothing spectacular.
