Oct 9th, 2020Nose better than Rousseau. Meaty, floral, generic flinstones vitamins. Gamey. So so so pretty. Just insane. Sour cherries. Soppy black cherries, superb limestone imprint, floral, my god this is floral. Heaven. So so impactful. Heady. Dizzying in complexity. Precise. Massive structure and density but light to the touch because it has the Brisset touch. Fresh, elegant and energetic with sweet mid season cherry fruit. Huge mid palate and such intense fruit. A streak of meat comes through the mid palate and beautiful velvety intensity. After 20 minutes the nose is super floral. The complexity ratchets up. So elegant and a lipstick like intensity. So pure. So elegant and complex.

Jun 7th, 2020Wow. Brisset is just a God. Ridiculous nose. Stunningly vivid cherry and plum fruit. Red plum. Perfect mid to late season cherries 80% red, 20% black. Gorgeous earth and mineral. So so aromatic. Smoke, minerals, inner earth. It’s so deep and so authentic, plus ethereal. Loam. Flowers. Meat. Game. Just wow wow. New nuances and new nuances. After some air a sweet cherry flower develops. What a palate. Deep, rich but so so juicy. Transparent and ethereal. Concentrated and super juicy. Cleansing acids and awe inspiring purity. Finishes savory and gamey with a huge limestone footprint. Stunning fruit. Finish takes 45 minutes to get going. Incredible fruit sap on the finish that takes over the whole palate. The mid palate has a tiny hit of opulence that just adds so much. This is a masterpiece. More notes as it opens up.

Wow.
Nose is gorgeous. Earth. Cherry lipstick. So precise. Spice. As this opens plum flower on the nose. Very intense and Persistent As this aerates gods licorice flower interlaced with lilacs. Wake the dead aromatics. So piercing on the nose it almost stings.
As this aerates it goes through periods of being closed. Just wait. It’s great at an hour.
Palate is amazing. Champagne-like finish. Finish is so long it’s like a perpetual motion machine. Such expansive internal aromatics it almost violates the laws of physics. Almost like a floral grenade of internal aromatics. Just explodes. Penetrates the palate below the surface of the palate.
Finish is almost like a wet kiss. Just slathers the palate with lingering fruit and spice. Wow. Godlike balance between lingering fruit and spice and licorice.
