Pieropan
Soave Classico Garganega
Medium lemon color with a nose redolent of apple, pear, blossom and spice. High but well-balanced acidity, medium body with a lanolin texture in the mouth (it’s 85% garganega and 15% trebbiano di Soave) and flavors of apple continuing on a long finish. Lovely, and a good value.

Jun 22nd, 2019Tasted blind. Deep straw yellow, aromatic but the palate was thinner than I was expecting. Felt it was between a Chardonnay and a Pinot Grigio. Not enough depth for Chardonnay and the color didn’t fit Pinot grigio. Decent wine but not my style.
