Original Ribera del Duero Tempranillo

Smells a bit like stewed prunes.

This wine has some age, and is evident in the slight oxidization, dark plum, dried prune, some slight salt, oregano, and shiso.
Odd herbaceousness, yet works.
Popsicle stick tannins, blackberry acidity.

Good value spanish wine. Not overly layered but enjoyable. Violet floral type aromas. Cherry, vanilla, leather, and subtle mint flavors. Paired well with grilled chicken.
