Russian River Valley Pinot Noir

Nice with tapas of all kinds. Smooth and well rounded.

Light ruby in color with light intensity and a pink rim.

Sweet nose of cherries, strawberries, earth, spices, black pepper, red candy, light vegetables, vanilla, wood and light barnyard.

Light to medium in body with medium acidity and nice legs.

Dry on the palate with plums, strawberries, bell pepper, vegetables, herbs, light vanilla, oak, peppercorn and spices.

Medium finish with soft tannins and black pepper.

This is an average Pinot Noir from Russian River Valley. Simple and balanced, but not complex, with a light mouthfeel. This was probably better a year or two ago.

Enjoyable with food. I paired it with a cheese plate and crackers.

13.5% alcohol by volume.

Drinks more like a merlot- very jammy, and berry forward, a bit heavier than the typical west coast Pinot noir

Cherry, smoke, leather, forest floor, mushroom, bacon fat, mushroom. Integrated ripe tannins, bright mouthwatering acid. Deelish!!

Soft oaky bitter. Mid light. Light bing cherry. $17

2018. Bright cherry. Simple but nice acidity to go with some great smoked meat by my coworker Jeff!

Decent Pinot, little too oak/vanilla for me, but would buy again. Easy to sip with or without food.

A friend shared this. Had more vanilla in the nose and palate than I remember in a Russian River Pinot. Light, strong berry and not what I traditionally think of from this region.

Mild bouquet of berries. Initial taste of berries - strawberries, raspberries with a dusty middle. A quick finish. A great hot summer red.
