Screw top. Tasted double-blind. Presented very transparent in the glass. Nose was bursting with character! Displaying citrus, underripe mango, kiwi fruit, white flowers, meringue, white pepper and benzine. On the palate it was a bit more simple with bubble gum (sort of a Tutti Frutti thing) but it’s wasn’t at all off putting. Really good acid. Nice and dry in the finish. I was sort of between two minds on this one and thought maybe Vouvray Sec from a good producer but I should she paid better attention to the benzine note that would have steered me towards my second choice with would have been Riesling. Lovely wine!

Really nice balance of citrus, mineral, and sweetness. This is a dry wine, but for the sugar-averse, there’s a little r/s here. Paired perfectly with our veggie-based stew and handled pork meatballs as well. Easy to drink, low alc. Hard not to love this wine. SommSelect

Dry and mineral with high acidity. Bits of grapefruit and lime with pleasant honeysuckle undertones and flint finish.

2011. It's Riesling. Don't let the slight RS fool you on the acid.
