The nose is very complex. Raisins, menthol, chocolate, ripe plum, ripe blackberry, a bit of bread too. The palate is very powerful, a wrecktrain of an acid backbone, a very nice fruit all along (raisins, plum, blackberry), some width with a bit grip, a menthol touch in mid palate to kick off a fresh and everlasting finish with blackberry, plum and that menthol thing. This is very good. Non vintage.

2012 Very rounded and lush, bright red fruits and a nice crunch to the tannins. Well balanced and overall, pretty good stuff.

Fruity character, easy drinking table wine from Italy. In my opinion - half dry.

Джемово, черные ягоды, черника, черная смородина, дым. Кислотность в норме, но сахар дает себя знать. Впрочем, без нее было бы резковато. Нормальное, даже неожиданно для пиччини.

A "new $tyle" blend, created to be a wine of whole Italy! Perhaps this is possible and profitable from a marketing point of view. This is less true & confusing in the glass. However, this wine is fresh, with a good drinkability & the bright ruby red color is cheerful. The 1st note is nail polish. Then you can play with cherry (that shows itself clearer on the palate), wood, dried figs and sometimes strong balsamic hint. Softness of Merlot is evident. Medium tannins & acidity are integrated in a mid body.
