A rather light-flavored Pinot Noir (baked strawberries and fresh mushrooms) with modest complexity. It's a decent value, but it doesn't deliver the verve of other similarly priced SojomaCoast wines.

Delicious Pinot at a great price. Bright, fresh and balanced.

High-toned and vibrant, red fruit and touch of minerality. My kind of PN!

I had the 2013 Picayune Pinot Noir; I would say it is on the lighter side of medium in color and had initial aromas of earth, spice and cherry. There is something I cannot describe well but sort of like a subtle combination of a asphalt and new tires. I have to say that I had my doubts about this one. This went away quickly, it was a little thin but had nice flavors of dark cherry, some blackberry and hints of herbs. I did notice that it had a lingering finished to me. After a while I was really looking forward to another sip. It's not overly fruity nor does the acid punch you. I have to say I like this a little more than I originally thought. The Picayune made for a nice evening drink. It is a little light so if you want to pair it with food you may want to try it first and pick accordingly. #picayune #sonomacoast #pinotnoir

Balance...although this wine probably doesn't meet the requirements to be included in IPOB (sarcasm), it shows not a hint of that trace of heat you find in most Pinots from this area that, and this is very important, are not missing Cali fruit. Show picayune to your Cali Pinot drinking friends!

This one holds the key to my heart. Perfect balance of lively acidity, luscious fruit and tannins. So glad my man crush Reid recommended this. Fabulous for under $30.
