High Altitude Cafayate Torrontés

Pale yellow, excellent clarity. White floral and guava notes in nose and mouth, lemon peel, grapefruit and grapefruit pith flavor, guava with length and a touch of creaminess in finish. Dry, good body, almost tart. Mineral aftertaste

Oh boy. Stone fruit and orange rind overload. A bouquet of flowers. Green grape. Unripened honeydew and pear. Acidic.

Silvery/Light Gold color. Bright aromas of lemon/lime, white flowers and grass. Pallet is citrus and tropical fruit driven with hints of green apple and lychee fruit. Very delicate texture. Crisp and nicely balanced. Ripping acidity (probably due to the high altitude of the vineyard.) Great with food or as an aperitif.

A good wine and value for 2017. Pear, white melon and flowers aromas.

Many Minerals… acid trip

Light and refreshing.

Tart, fresh crisp. Would do it again.

High elevation. Aromatic but not sweet tarts. Big sharp acid. $7 C

Tastes like moscato to me. Sweet and floral, not enough acidity. Histamines. I won’t be rushing back to the store for another bottle.

Haskell’s $16, used in recipe and paired with braised pork and mushroom dish. Just slightly sweet.
