Grand Reserve Limited Production Lujan de Cuyo Malbec

Good choice w/ slow cooked ribs. Nice balance of ripe fruit & restrained (!) oak.

Pretty undistinguished for a Wine Spectator Top 100 wine.

Uber good value Malbec. Opens with red berries and sweet plum. Black tea and spice mid palate and a long tannic finish with a bit of oak. Consider this for a pot luck. Worth the price

Got this from my partner for Valentine’s Day. It’s good. I would drink one glass, but probably not more in a sitting.

Slightly salty, AMAZING with mushrooms & blue cheese, complex cherry flavors with herbs, smooth sweet barnyard funk. Everything I love about Malbecs but heightened.

A crowd pleaser. Not overly powerful but some interesting notes
