Pungent fruity notes with loads of spiciness. Such an incredible nose! Beautiful melange of cherry, raspberry and baking spices. And bam. Fully flavored with loads of fruit, silky smooth, and light and easy finish. Incredibly well balanced and refined. My only complaint, although a small one, is the higher alcohol content is noticable and almost takes away from the elegance of the wine. If the AC were lowered a bit I'd have to say it was a nearly perfect wine. All that said, I have always loved brunellos and this is an amazing example. Definitely recommend!

Fruit is a little muted/stewed/pruney/out of whack, but on day 2 it comes together. Nice rich sturdy pasta wine. Solid.
