Oct 31st, 2022The 2015 Rosso di Montalcino is soft, supple and very pretty. Sweet tobacco, crushed flowers, mint, licorice and dried herbs add lovely aromatic nuance to this mid-weight, gracious Rosso. Silky fruit and soft contours add to the wine's considerable personality, immediacy and appeal. The 2015 is not super-complex, but it is immensely delicious. Drink it over the next handful of years.
