I purchased this bottle at the tasting room in Anderson Valley. If you ever get a chance this is a must stop! The tasting room is on an old apple farm. The building must be historic.
Incredible CA Pinot at a perfect age. Subtle rose red in color with bursting aromatics of oolong tea, dried plum, anise and underbrush. Defines its AVA beautifully. A special bottle for sure
So thoughtfully made. It is elegant and nuanced. This is one of the finest New world Pinots I have tried in years. Stylistically reminds me of burgundy but to compare to another CA producer, anthill comes to mind. Awesome!!!!!!!!

Love this Anderson Valley Pinot. Bright acidity, elegance. I’d love to revisit this in 3 years.

Wow. Really drinking well right now. Bright red fruit, forest floor and orange peel on the nose. Nice acidity to pair well with food.

Clear ruby color with appealing
strawberry, cherry, pomegranate, damp forest floor ,spice, and mineral aromas. On the palate it's light-bodied, fresh, and persistent and harmonious with velvety tannins. It shows
strawberry, pomegranate, morello cherry, and spice flavors with a very appealing minerality  and a giving finish

2012 - Killer, needs 3 more years in the glass. Great balance, good acid and tannic grip, fresh red raspberries with floral notes of roses. Every Philips Hill wine I open, I have been more than pleased.

Gorgeous. Thought we'd waited too long to open this 2008, but it's amazing. Ripe cherries, a touch of port, and a little forest floor. Really special.
