Quite a deep , copper tinged colour . Quite rich and dense on the nose , with brioche , lemon peel , baked apple , red currant and strawberry . On the palate quite rich also , toasty and red fruit focused, with buttered pastry , baked apple and some mineral hints in the background . Quite vinous and serious in style . Good fresh acidity and long saline tinged finish . Drinking well now but will age well further over the next 5-10 years

This parcel had been in the family since 1522. Showing very round. Like you popped a golf ball in your mouth.
