Falling for all the first hints of autumn. Tonight, it’s roasted Red Kuri squash and Chassagne-Montrachet. This wine is in a great place, striking its balance between fresh, vibrant acid structure on the palette and seductive toasted hazelnuts, toasted sesame, and red apple spice driving the nose. Marzipan / almond skin, oxidized apples, pastry dough, and green carrot tops are amongst some of the deeper pleasures of the nose of this wine. Delicious!
Perfectly paired with Gillian Welch & Lucinda Williams in the speakers.

Gorgeous right now. Shimmering with bright acid, lemon oil, juicy peach stone fruit and hint of exotic tropical notes on the mid palate. Toast and hazelnut showing up, and it all greatly intensifies with air. Decadent, charming and fresh all at once.

Tasting 2011 Burgs. P Colin's Les Chenevottes has beautiful nose that delivers lovely floral, mineral and rich opulence.
