Recently released by Bornard. His first vintage. Still vibrant and very much alive. Soft and silky. Cherries on dirt. My heart started pounding from excitement (i.e. 'la chamade)! A wine in perfect condition.

Flawed. Refermenting in the bottle. A note to edgy winemakers - use more sulphur.

Ploussard 2011, nice extraction, gamey little red berries, supple tannin with a refreshing acidity, thank you Savio!

Juicy and tasty, and happy that the unpleasant reduction of the last few vintages isn't an issue.
