Almost flawless wine from the Wizard of Spring Mtn. What a mastery he has of an odd vintage. Red currants, fig, sous-bois. Opened 24 hours.

Dark fruits, bright and layered

A little richer than most Togni cabs but at a perfect spot.

04' Philip Tongni. Hi on top of spring mountain you find a legendary winery. This 82% CB 15% Merlot & the rest PV, CF. When you first look at it, smell it & taste it...can't believe it's a 2004! To really enjoy this ,decanting for(a day)two hours is a must!! The color is still dark ruby red/purple. On the nose I get a little veggie mix, raspberries. A full-bodied wine. Ripe black fruits. Acidity throughout the wine, firm tannins on the backside of the palate. It's all there. 20+ years!

I thought Bordeaux was in France. Apparently there's a small pocket of it tucked away in California. Wonderful.

Well balanced Cab. Initially earthy. Needs about 2 hours in decanter.

More spice than fruit with lots of pepper on the finish.

Good cab but drunk too young.
