I suppose if you're in a region that seems so beholden to oak, you might as well try a variety that can soak it up. Pretty good with food, if a little one note.

Valle's best varietal is Tempranillo in my opinion! Very smooth and enjoyable, fennel and earth. Milder saltiness than most Valle wines.
