Has to open another bottle! Color reveals some ages, good brownish rim. Graphite, wet stones, lots of liquorice, cinnamon at first on the nose. Ripe red cherry, plum and strawberry hiding behind the spices. Fairly concentrated juice, very elegant and beautiful mouth feel. 30s finish, little bit bitter at the end but doesn't conceal its elegance. 15.5% alc(never feel that high). 2006 vintage

Aug 25th, 2016By far the best US wine I have ever enjoyed. Maybe due to my passion for blend d reds.i feel blending reds in the Bordeaux fashion enriches the shortcomings of single vine products. Moderate body, multiple aromas from earth, slight oak, slight berry almost like a cross of left and right bank Bordeaux. If you find this wine and do not want to try me please notify me, I want it! :)

May 6th, 2017Oak not integrated and stands out a little too much in the finish. 2006 in 2015. Exciting beginning. Not the best finish. Had this past its prime? Hmmm. Expected more from this winemaker!
