Blind tasted this. Mistook it for an aged Bordeaux. So good.

The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Les Pavots is a dense, powerful wine that is going to need at least a few years to shed some baby fat. A rush of blue/purplish fruit, lavender, sage, tobacco, grilled herbs and incense washes across the palate. There's terrific depth, but the 2019 is so young. The 2019 is one of the more refined young Les Pavots I can remember tasting. It will be exquisite in another few years' time. (Antonio Galloni, Vinous, June 2022)

Love this wine - a notch better than the Schrader RBS imo - Both were amazing - crimson ruby color and it’s a baby still - omg so damn good - black fruits - cherry, currant and blackberry - tertiary notes apparent - deep forrest floor, vanilla, mocha, cedar, graphite cloves and a lovely lavender aroma - bolder than I expected - full-bodied - silky but firm tannins - extremely long finish (45 seconds I bet)

Lighter version of typical Peter Michael cab blend. Lovely bouquet but lacking finish and body. Opened up nicely after 3 hours but paled in comparison to 2009 knights valley petite Syrah.

2019 vintage. Youthful and somewhat flighty. Medium body (so lighter than expected). Playful nose and intro palate. Needs a solid 7-10 years to start forming the building blocks for the years past those. Steer clear till 2030 if you can. 12.22.23.
