This Peter Michael Pinot Noir comes from the Santa Lucia Highlands Pisoni Vineyards. On the nose I get dark fruit, hints of dark cherries, anise, forest floor and some alcohol which I am sure will blow off after some time sitting. On the palate the dark fruit continues, sour cherries, a little lighter than expected. Medium acidity, med tannin and a bit more oak then I like. This I what I call the typical California Pinot and not my cup of tea for a Pinot.

This is awesome. Great structure and depth. Not your typical California Pinot. Great fruit but not overly done.

2011 Peter Michael Ma Danseuse Pinot. Drank at lunch w K at AOC. We love this wine. Easy to drink and very pleasant. Lots of stone fruit and balanced alcohol. Great!

May 13th, 20152011 Peter Michael Le Moulin Rouge Pinot Noir. K and I drank at lunch at Napenthe in Big Sur. We love this Pinot. Great fruit, but not massively jammy. Great and smooth to drink.
