One of my all time favorite Chards period. Even as high alcohol but balanced by massive frame of acid backbone. It used to remind me of a Mersault but now more a Marcassin Chard with loads of lemon curd, peel, rocky slate envelope evident from the name 'Quarry' in French. High concentration and powerful wine! Not for those who dare Chardonnay made this way.

Feb 6th, 2016Big Chardonnay. Butterscotch, but nice acid. I am generally not a big Chardonnay fan, but this wine was well balanced. And not too buttery as I expected. Nice flavors overall of Granny Smith apple and ripe pear

Mar 30th, 2014Jeez, does Peter Michael produce any wines that are not excellent? Les Pavots is how I got turned on to PM. Pinot's are excellent; Chard's are great. It is worth the wait to get on the Peter Michael mailing list!!
