Just look at this beauty. Seriously look at it. A very mature and pristine deep old gold with a light mousse. On the nose, aged cheese and white flowers with a jaunty bit of petrol. Smoke and apples with wet stones and incense.
This is a wine that sings a song I love to hear. Racy acidity, salty, and so complete. Very classy but still a bit wild and free. Caramel and honey on the tongue. A bit of grass and mushroom to go with some dried ginger. Lemons abound after some air. A long, elegant finish. What a glorious wine and what a treat to taste.
