Rainier cherries, starfruit, passionfruit. Literally palpitating with slate minerality, elevated acidity and dry extract. A good friend and I both think this one may have stopped fermenting just short of dryness, but who cares? Rheingau Riesling at its commanding and unyielding best. Don’t even bother with this for at least 10 years.

Very young with plenty of acid. Biodynamic - florals with slatey overtones. Tingling with petillance on the palate. Overall too young but it does show its potential - fresh and lively.
