A stunning wine. One of the great GG’s of Germany and easily a top 5 Rheingau GG. Soaring aromas of elegant minerals, dash of brown sugar to add complexity, spice notes and sea breeze. So complex and ethereal. Palate is structured, dry and super intense. Wow is this salty and structured. Tighter than the 19 and showing much younger than the 19 did in August. But so precise and stunning. Needs air. Glad I brought another bottle. So dense and concentrated while being light on its feet. What a finish that’s almost tannic.
