Expressive Langhe Nebbiolo. Fleshy red fruit & chewy tannins accent cherry & herbal aromatics. Lingers on the palate. Perfect w/ lamb chops.

Flabby, dirty, few tannin or acidity. Too muck oak. Yuk VA is overwhelming.

This is what I'm thinking when I hear "Italian wine." Intensely flavored with stewed blackberry, currant and other brambles. Dusty, soft tannin and medium acid. Fruit lingers. Oh (affordable) Nebbiolo, bless you.
