The best cuvée from Peregrine with 100% Gibbston fruit ie where their award winning winery is. Showing the trademark thyme and herbal qualities of the region. Bought some 2004 from the winery years ago. This shows they are consistently good

Feb 1st, 2017Our friend Kelly brought this back from her trip to Oz and it doesn’t disappoint. Small production NZ Pinot with depth but not too much fruit so the top end finishes beautifully. Lots of tobacco and anise without being overbearing and one dimensional. I like the huckleberry side notes and enough earth tone to match up with some of the top Oregon Pinot that stays in the more traditional Burgundian style.
