Historically shaped bottle. Blend of Syrah, Mourvèdre, Cinsault and Grenache. Aromas of dark currant, wood, lavender, and mushroom. Ripe black cherry and plum flavors with hints of earth, graphite and iron. Not overly concentrated, but full bodied. Fairly tight tannins and fresh acidity. Non-Vintage, so I guess it’s a blend of multiple vineyards and vintages.

Great wine to sip on its own. Very subtle, so it easily get carried away by other flavours. Mélange of red stone fruits and berries, light tannin... if you focus too hard it tastes like any other cheap blend, but if you let it tell it’s own story, it has some interesting things to say.

Nice spicy peppery notes with tart berry hints. We ate with lamb and it was delicious!

My first CDP, gorgeous garnet color, fruit possibly strawberry or cherry on the nose with a little pepper, light body (laughed at the full body label description), black cherry taste with pepper and some resin, needs to breathe a little.
