Full and bold flavour, peppery with plenty of life left in this Shiraz blend

Inky deep red just starting to turn to brick, intense rich berry fruit nose with chocolate. Palate perfectly balanced between fruit and vanilla oak. Great length, superb now. Can't see it improving from here.

Dark & concenrrate ruby red color with loads of ripe black fruits, oak, and liquorice on the nose. Full-bodied coupled with strong flavors of ripe black fruits like blackberry, chocolate, and solid black pepper on the palate. Dry, firm texture but a bit rough tannins and a little too much of spiciness of black pepper. Nice wine but not attractive wine when comparing with the retail price in Thailand.

Still a monster. Plums, dark berries and velvety smooth. Probably opened it up too early.

This bottle was a gift from Peter Gago when he visited us in 2010. As delicious now as it was then.

Not a bad wine, but not worth the price, chocolate and spice and all the uniform pleasantries you expect from Penfolds. It's good but not dynamic or showing any unique character. Meh

Very silky, worth hanging onto since 2009. One bottle down, one in waiting.
