Still a monster. Plums, dark berries and velvety smooth. Probably opened it up too early. — 9 years ago
Smooth, smokey with a hint of roasted meats and laced with white pepper. Syrah from St. Davids is so distinct. But the coolest part of this wine is the name. A true rebel. — 9 years ago
Yum.

Blackberries, plum, black cherry, cracked white pepper and meats that belong on a charcuterie board. Lots of acidity and finishes with a chocolaty oak and vanilla flavour. I don't think I have had a better Syrah ever. — 9 years ago
Dark cherries, blueberry, woods pice and vanilla. Super smooth tannins with a taste that lasts and lasts. Derek Barnett makes the best wine in Ontario. — 9 years ago
Lots of cedar and plum.

Creme de cassis, licorice and the oak is not overpowering. Flavour lasts for over 30 seconds. Great Bordeaux. — 9 years ago
The fruit is focused like a laser beam, rich black currant, blueberries with a hint of raspberries and dark chocolate. Impossible for someone not to like. 2005 is still fresh and alive. — 9 years ago
Black cherries, plums and dark chocolate. Dusty tannins like a Napa wine. Cabernet Franc comes through. Yum. — 9 years ago

Lots of black cherry and stone minerals. Flavour lasts for 45 seconds. Really good.
