Plummy, freshly tilled earth aromas. From a lesser year but still plenty of power and tannin. Typical Bin 28 with ripe black currant fruit and liquorice notes. A good wine if not a little square sided.

No hint of brown aroind the edges, solid red although not as dark as some years. Palette tight upon opening bit opened after some time in the glass. Fruit still strong and well integrated with the oak.
