Plum and cherry aromas with blackberry and raspberry on the palate. Usually with Bin 128 being from the cooler Coonawarra district there is a spicy peppery element but not in the warm ripe 2008 vintage. Looking more like Bin 28 from the Barossa.

Concentrated ripe blackberry with some leaf and pepper and menthol. Round and plush still, even with ten years on it. Tastes like a “made” wine, but with plenty of class.

Those eucalyptus trees...they're so apparent in the smell. Incredible. Also bramble, thyme, cherry and pure chocolate. Decent length.

Age has not wearied it but I doubt it's changed much in any respect. Still very black, slightly astringent, solid block of fruit. Very little charm.
