Peirson Meyer
Miller Vineyard Pinot Noir
Russian River Valley, Sonoma County, California, USA
Extremely nice Pinot tonight and am already thinking how this will be with another 5-6 years in the bottle. Pure elegance in fruit of; dark cherries, cherries, dry cranberries, poached strawberries and some notes of blueberries. Volcanic minerals and limestone that are grippy but soft as a babies bottom. Red florals for days. Acidity is like a waterfall and a finish that is long, beautiful, well balanced, rich and doesn’t end.

2012. Big pinot noir that went great with the Oven's mixed grill and lamb curries.
