Powerful, well developed nose. Spicy, wood-smoked flavors; a good mix of fruit, dried herbs, and leather. Elegant palate. A real treat. Faded a bit after 45 minutes.

1973 shockingly delicious! Color shows no bricking? Looks young?? Some sweet cassis and leather still has nice acidity. The nose has bright black fruit. I am stunned!!??!!

Perfect provenance...blossomed after 30 minutes. Fully mature with notes of leather, light mint, rustic hints of cherry. Nice evolution through the evening.
