2008 tasted in January 2022. Decanted but no real sediment. Initially had some funky aroma that blew off quickly. Had with salmon and was a great accompaniment. Lots of earthy and mushroom but strong dried cherry through all. Still long and firm acid backbone. Lasted an hour plus in the decanter. Great surprise. Did I say very long? Light/medium body. Translucent color.
