Organic, Biodynamic & Preservative Free Rosé 🌿

A big thanks to Paxton Wines who recently sent me this sample of their new release NOW 2019 Rosé from South Australia’s McLaren Vale region to taste. This pink wine is a blend of 56% Shiraz grapes and 44% Grenache grapes.

NOW stands for ‘Natural Organic Wine’ which is exactly what this range is from Paxton. There’s also a Chardonnay and Shiraz in the range (tasting notes to come) and they all retail for $25.

I’m a strong believer in rosé being an all year round drink, being super thirst quenching in both the warmer and colder months. We recently tucked into this one with a simple midweek dinner and it sure did shine ✨

Here are our notes:

It’s a vibrant peach-silver colour in the glass. Mr Spittoon said it made him think of the sunset 🌅. While on the nose it made me think of apples, citrus and quite simply freshness. In the mouth it’s nice and dry with refreshing lemon and lime acidity intertwined with red fruits. Yum!

This wine was sent to me direct from the winery as a sample, I was under no obligation to post about it.

All opinions are based on my own taste buds. Wine is subjective & always evolving, so make sure you drink what you enjoy!
