Pax Mahle Wines
Pax Quail Run Vineyard Valdiguié
This wine pisses me off it is so good. It is alive. I hate to kill it but I must for the job. Drink chilled. It’s peppers and flowers and pastilles and it prickles the tongue. There is perhaps a teeny hint of brett at the end. The pleasant type of grounds this dancing prancing enchanting wine.

Mar 29th, 2020No sulfites, quite dark and cloudy. Pretty nose of rose petals and wild berries. Really interesting palate. Slightly stemmy with crunchy red fruits

Dec 12th, 2021You couldn’t ask for a better weeknight sipping wine. Low alcohol yet boisterous. Juicy, fleshy, and structured. The nose has developed from essentially “grape”, now to a funky potpourri of saddle, barn floor, and hay. Definitely some Brett going on, which I enjoy.
