Wow, wow, wow. Insane this wine is 15.6%. It hides it so well. It is so jammy and grapey. Clean & deep fruit/ berry notes abound. Raspberry sorbet, slight hints of mango, and Dalmatia fig spread. Seriously, you will have lived a better life if you drink this wine. So well made it insane.

A deep ruby-red, the '04 Pax Syrah 'Cuvée Christine', is totally in its prime. Intense nose of black raspberry, roasted meat, vanilla and violets. The tongue then floods with dark jammy dark fruits, cracked pepper and anise flavors. A supple, well-balanced wine that finishes strong and long. Sublime stuff!
