Cuvée Christine North Coast Syrah

This was my contribution to the happy hour. Having never had it, it was recommended by one of the employees at Wine Watch and they hit it out of the park. Absolutely gorgeous. Amazing fruit, long finish, great complexity and left me wanting more.

Very smooth and a little light. Drink now. Lots of olives and other savory notes

Good intense Syrah, violets, black fruit, big flavors without feeling heavy.

Still vivid and balanced with stemmy spice, dried flowers and lovely red and dark berries. Full-bodied, loaded with extracts, finishing layered and long.

Slightly past it's prime. But it was still yummy.

Guilty pleasure. Still drinking well.

Sour, bitter and not much evolution.

2005 Vintage. After opening 2 bottles of Pax 2004 with corks gone, tried the 2005. Cork is still good but sour cranberry is not my ideal tasting note on a Syrah. Weird and one dimensional. Sad.

Pretty full at this age. Great start and good fruit right away. Decent texture all the way through.
