Solid #syrah with #gamey touches and that sort of lavender black olive spice with potential for bottle aging. Very pleasant. #rhone #hermitage #crozeshermitage

Always a sucker for a Crozes Hermitage, especially when in France and the French charcuterie comes out with multiple pork and goose terrines and mousses. The acidic Syrah and touch of white pepper cut on the fat and enhance the méat’s flavors.

Smoky aroma, taste of dark chocolate, hint of tobacco, smooth, pairs nicely with lamb.
