Celebrating the hike up to La Chappelle the only way I know how. Subtle yet extremely inviting nose, marzipan, fresh sweet cream, fresh masa/corn husk, green almond, white flowers, quince, yellow peach, baked pear, marshmallow, granite (go figure), radish. Found the oak subtle, and while leesy its really layered in nicely. Great interplay of Marsanne bass and Roussane treble. I could see this being really fun in 10 years but its so lovely now, open knit and fresh.

Very rich and full, oily and super smooth. Lot’s of different fruits and evolving tastes in the mouth; peach and apricot and pear. Then spices and cookie. Very complete and complex.
