Smokey, stony, spicy black-fruited nose. Powerful and tannic but with plenty of mineral and acid energy. Some tar and tobacco, lots of minerals. Not super giving; still young, but very good. Would wait to open.

May 27th, 2021Perfect wine paired with perfect meal (rack of lamb done on the Egg). All this made even better with my parents in town for the first time in forever (damn covid). Rich and expressive wine. Really nice bottle even though I opened a bit young.
