Very solid and surprisingly much better this evening after a quick taste last night. Has really come to life.

Good stuff. Tastes like CA meets OR on pinot β€” fruit and funk.

From Magnum, drank like a Cabernet! Big Pinot Noir from Paul Hobbs. Lot’s of dense concentrated fruit went down easy. Cheers

Drinking US pinots this week. Paul Hobbs is a great pinot winemaker, and here, he has crafted an exquisite entry level Sonoma Pinot. Fresh raspberry, bing cherry, and dried berry flavors mingle with nutmeg and cinnamon. The tannins are sinewy but are balanced by the tart acidity which leaves you craving another sip. A joy to drink! 2017 vintage on Mar 23, 2020
