As pinot noir goes this is a fairly full-bodied wine with both red and black fruit character and very appealing herbal and forest floor qualities. Tasted alongside the 2015 Hyde Vineyard bottling this one has a bit more acidity and structure though both are equally appealing.

I'm being very picky today, this is not overly impressive. Not at all what I was expecting. Will be considered good if someone is an occasional wine drinker.

Classic Paul Hobbs, lush density with finesse and insane length. Strawberry rhubarb, cola, cherry and a mix of fresh green herbs on the finish reminiscent of a bouquet garni are integrated perfectly into the wine.

Drank 2/3 of this on Thanksgiving. Very nice bright red fruit forward expression with a structured long finish. I had it at 94 day 1. Stuck a cork in it and finished it day 2. So much added depth on day 2. An easy 96! Split the diff at 95.
